Gill Peterson has recently set up her Warm Glass Studio in the garage of her home in Aspendale Gardens. Not only does Gill produce her own work, but can teach you the basis of warm glass, the rest is limited only by your imagination!

BEGINNERS COURSES
  

Slumping
You will learn how to cut and prepare a mould and slump your first piece of float glass into a functional or decorative piece. This technique can be translated for use with coloured glass pieces.

Tack Fusing
You will learn how to cut and design glass and prepare it for a tack fusing firing, to form a dimentional piece for slumping or decoration.
Cost: $75.00		  
     
Full Fusing
You will learn how to cut, design and decorate glass and prepare it for a full fusing firing to form a decorative and functional bowl.
Cost $100.00		  
     
Dichroic Jewellery
Learn how to make pendants or earrings to match a favourite outfit or as a gift.
Cost: $45.00 includes 2 pendants, extra pendants $8 each.		  
     
 
INTERMEDIATE & ADVANCED ARTISTS
  
 

Once you have learned the basics you are welcome to attend regular sessions to make more pieces as you like. We call this the "Kiln Club". They are held each Tuesday 10:30am - 12:30pm and 7:00pm - 9.00pm. Other times by arrangement.

Please book in as space is limited.
Cost: $20 per session, materials and firing extra.

If you prefer to prepare your glass at home, Gill stocks glass and tools at competitive prices and also offers a firing service.

Sales outside of session times are by appointment only.
